Do you fit into any of these categories? Are you launching a new website? Do you  design websites? Do you have an existing website? Ok, maybe you're thinking about building a website :) ? Well I discovered this great article on Smashing Magazine that not only gives us a 15 item checklist but it's full of links to more detailed, in depth information should you want it about  what to do before you launch your website! It's clearly written and very helpful!  It starts with the basics and doesn't geek out too much with the tech lingo.  I  have already gone through the list, making sure that  my client's and my site is covered! So we've all been hearing the buzz about social marketing, social media, internet marketing, web 2.0, etc.  You see it on CNN, FOX, The Daily Show and even Oprah (how soon will she reach 1 million followers?)  Certainly the hype is warranted and everyone and their grandmother are tweeting on Twitter, finding friends on FaceBook, linking on LinkedIn and digging everything they're reading on Digg! Maybe it's a passing fad!  If I ignore it maybe it'll go away...Doubtful!
