Hoping the holiday season finds everyone happy, healthy and surrounded by friends and family!!

Since we first posted this story last holiday season, the acapella group, Straight No Chaser has become an amazing success! They have a new holiday album out this year, “Christmas Cheer” which you can buy off their new website http://www.sncmusic.com/ as well as find tour dates in your area in 2010! Check them out on the cover of Cosmo! And like any good business, they have a blog, a twitter, facebook and myspace account!

YouTube has video greeting cards! So once I again I get sucked in for the rest of the night! One of the videos features an acapella group, Straight No Chaser. And I LOVE acapella! Especially at Christmas. So in the spirit of the holidays, here’s a story of how social marketing and web 2.0 technology made these 10 guys an overnight success….Oh yeah, helps that they’re pretty talented too.

Twitter has made it BIG!

Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show’s March 2nd episode features a comedy bit on Twitter called “Twitter Frenzy”!

In his Daily Show segment “For the uninitiated, here’s how Twitter works,”

then he says:“— I have no f***ing idea.”

The irony is that there has been quite a buzz about this on Twitter. The tweets have really been promoting this link! As am I

The more you give away for FREE, the more money you make! Now that’s a pretty popular formula for online marketers and bloggers worldwide. I’m so glad that one of my favorite comedy acts Monty Python is benefiting from this! Have you seen their YouTube channel? Now there’s always the question of free content and copyright. Obama Palling Around with Superheroes

So apparently PE Obama is a big Webhead fan! I mean Spiderman! Since we are too, we thought we’d give a shout out to our friendly neighborhood President Elect as his inauguration approaches.

Seems he’s landed himself a major role in a special inaugurational edition of Stan Lee’s Spiderman. Way to go Spidey! The comic goes on sale January 14th and the lines are going to be unreal! Watch out, Ebay is going to have a field day.
