Psst!  I’m gonna tell you a secret!

This is one of the BIGGEST PITFALLS that beginners and seasoned veterans of social marketing stumble into.

THEY VOLUNTARILY SEND PEOPLE AWAY FROM THEIR SITE!!!

How is this possible?!

Well every time we embed or share a video from YouTube, it links back to YouTube!  We send our hard earned traffic to someone else’s website! Now sometimes it’s unavoidable since YouTube is one of the most popular video sharing sites out there.

But for all my self made videos and screen captures, I use Viddler.com.  Viddler allows me to upload my video, color customize my player and insert my own logo.    But most important of all is that I can change the permalink to track back to my site vs. linking back to the viddler site.  Here’s a video to walk you through the process step by step.
